High school diploma or GED required Must have experience working in a licensed child care or preschool Childhood Development Associate (CDA) or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred Previous experience as an Assistant Teacher, Teacher or Float High level of flexibility and willingness to work all shifts Must be at least 18 years old Must pass all background checks required
Responsibilities:
Prepare materials and activities for classroom Works with small groups and manage students learning environment Organize and utilize materials available to maximize learning opportunities for children Supports routines and school expectations to assist in the teaching of children Works along with staff members to create a supportive work environment Engages with the families and of children with effective communication Demonstrates the ability to make decisions, always putting the child's safety, development, and well being first Participates in school activities Responsible, Dependable and Punctual Demonstrates honestly, integrity, and compassion for children and others Able to take suggestions regarding personal performance and self-improvement for the benefit of themselves and others Job Type:
