The HitcHike Team is looking for a bright and driven student to join our team for the summer.
HitcHike is a long-distance ride sharing platform for university students.
Our mission is to provide affordable travel to university students -- we connect drivers with students looking to travel to similar destinations.
We are looking for an outgoing, team-oriented social media guru who enjoys working with our creative team to deliver impactful brand awareness.
Our goal is to disrupt the traveling market by taking advantage of the growing sharing economy.
Purpose of PositionThe individual will be in charge of creating and delivering marketing material using various social media optimization strategies The intern will also take part in the process for generating marketing programs tailored specifically for our audience.
You will work closely with Brand Ambassadors to provide excellent customer service answering customer questions regarding our brand.
Primary Duties:
Increase social media presence by employing successful optimization strategies.
Increase client's profits by establishing strong brand representation through face-to-face marketingExecute short-term promotional sales presentationsAcquire skills and build social media and marketing knowledgeExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and contribute in a team environmentExceptional self-management and self-motivationDesire to succeed Recommended Skills Communication Customer Service Interpersonal Skills Self Motivation Social Media Sales Presentation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
