Looking for a great opportunity? We seek a Pharm.D. with (3) or more years leadership experience in an acute care setting for the role of Director of Pharmacy Services. In this role you will assume primary responsibility for assessing, planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating all activities in the Pharmacy department on a 24 hour basis. You will be responsible for providing counseling and disciplinary action in coordination with their VP and the HR Director. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of an ongoing Process and Quality improvement program. You will communicate and collaborate with other departmental staff for problem identification and resolution.
Candidates must be a graduate (B.S. or Pharm.D.) of an accredited school of Pharmacy and be licensed as a pharmacist in the state of South Carolina (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have five (5) years hospital pharmacy experience with demonstrated clinical skills in area of specialty. Must have at least three (3) years of demonstrated management, leadership and supervisory skills.
