CLINICAL EDUCATOR

The Educator is a registered professional nurse who functions under the direction of the Education Manager.
The Educator demonstrates knowledge of educational theories, methods of delivery, and the ability to develop and facilitate relevant and effective education for the adult learner.
The Educator is a resource to all levels of staff and is responsible for assessing learning needs, planning activities, developing curriculum, and collecting/analyzing data to evaluate education ensuring positive outcomes.
The Educator promotes quality, evidence-based practice, and supports nursing research. This nurse actively supports the facility in achieving its mission and goals, fosters positive communication and collaborative practice with members of the healthcare team, and serves as a positive role model.
Qualifications :
Education/Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree, required, BSN preferred.
Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
Knowledge of general nursing theories and practice
Successful completion of hospital Orientation program
Maintains competency and/or certification specific to departmental requirements
Must have and maintain current BCLS certification.
ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
AHA instructor certifications preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required
Nursing education and/or staff development experience preferred
Strong computer background
- Microsoft Work; Excel; Publisher; PowerPoint; Learning Management Systems

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
