Customer Service Representative (6562)

CAR Financial Services is a national company and industry leading provider of financial services for independent auto dealers. Seeking a Customer Service Representative to service accounts, which includes receiving payments; creating/updating accounts and general phone/ administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Receive inbound calls; receive and record payments
Data entry for new customer accounts into the system of record.
Process paid out accounts; make copies; file customer folders
Perform daily cash and performance logs
Monitor and maintain accounts
Resolve customer issues
Other administrative functions as needed

Requirements:

Full time position - 40 hrs per week Monday-Friday
Must have excellent computer skills, good problem-solving ability and superb communication and interpersonal skills
Desire to work as part of a team and to provide back-up when required for team members
Able to prioritize work; Able to work independently
Bilingual in Spanish a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
